DeKalb County elections board to meet and consider voter challenges on April 10

The DeKalb County Board of Registration and Elections has scheduled its regular monthly meeting for Thursday, April 10, 2025. The meeting will begin at 4:30 p.m. and will be held in person at 4380 Memorial Drive, Suite 300, Decatur, Georgia 30032. This session is open to the public and will focus on routine business matters and voter challenges.

Public participation in the meeting can be either in person or via email. Those opting to send comments by email are required to submit their message of no more than one printed page with a font size of at least 12. Emails should be sent to electionspubliccmnt@dekalbcountyga.gov, and must be received between 35 and 5 minutes prior to the start of the meeting. Submissions must include the sender's first and last names.

Participants agree by emailing their comments that their name and message will be broadcast on UStream and recorded in the meeting's official minutes. The board may choose, at its discretion, to either add the email to the record without reading it aloud or to read all or part of the email during the meeting.

During the meeting, public comments will be restricted to two minutes per commenter. The use of abusive, profane, or derogatory language is prohibited, as is physical support such as signs or gestures. However, attendees are allowed to show support or opposition to a speaker by raising their hands or standing quietly.
