The DeKalb County Senior Olympic Games, now in its 36th year, is set to take place from May 5 to May 16. This event, designed for individuals aged 50 and older, will kick off at 9 a.m. on May 5 at the Exchange Intergenerational Recreation Center located at 2771 Columbia Drive, Decatur, Georgia. The games will feature a variety of Olympic-style sports, including free-throw basketball, bowling, track and field, billiards, swimming, table tennis, line dancing, and water volleyball. These events will be hosted at different venues throughout DeKalb County.

Participants have the option to compete individually or as part of a team. Medals will be given to the top three finishers in each category. Seniors who require assistance with transportation can contact MARTA Mobility at 404-848-5389 for support.
