DeKalb County elections board schedules special meeting on voter challenges

The DeKalb County Board of Registration and Elections is set to convene for a Special Called Meeting on Thursday, January 16, 2025. The meeting will take place at 10:00 a.m. at 4380 Memorial Drive, Suite 300, Decatur, Georgia. The primary agenda will be to consider voter challenges.

Members of the public are invited to comment either in person or via email. Emails should be one printed page or less with a minimum font size of 12 and must include the sender's first and last name. They should be sent to electionspubliccmnt@dekalbcountyga.gov and received between 35 and 5 minutes before the meeting begins.

By sending an email for public comment, individuals consent to have their names and emails broadcast on UStream as well as included in the official record and minutes. The board reserves the right to add emails directly into the record without reading them aloud or choose portions of them for reading.

Public comments during the meeting will be restricted to two minutes each. Actions such as using abusive language, holding signs, clapping, yelling, standing in aisles, or lying down will not be allowed. However, showing support or opposition by raising hands or quietly standing in place is acceptable.
