DeKalb County's Department of Watershed Management is actively working to repair a broken 30-inch water main located at 3661 Clairmont Road. The crews will continue their efforts until the water pressure is fully restored. A boil water advisory remains in effect for the affected area, and residents are advised to adhere to this precaution until further notice.
To assist those impacted, bottled water is being distributed at several local fire stations and a RaceTrac location. The distribution centers include Fire Station 1 on Clifton Road, Fire Station 3 on N. Clarendon Avenue, Fire Station 7 on Columbia Drive, Fire Station 9 on N. Druid Hills Road, Fire Station 20 on Warren Road, and RaceTrac on Clairmont Road.
Motorists are advised to avoid the area around Clairmont Road due to an ongoing detour and should anticipate potential delays if travel through the vicinity is necessary.
