DeKalb County Department of Watershed Management crews are working to repair a broken 30-inch water main on Clairmont Road. The work is ongoing, and crews will continue overnight efforts. A boil water advisory remains in effect until further notice.

Bottled water is available at several distribution centers, including Fire Stations 1, 3, 7, 9, and 20, as well as RaceTrac on Clairmont Road. Motorists are advised to avoid the area due to detours and expected delays.

In addition to the repairs on Clairmont Road, crews are conducting unrelated water main work at the North Druid Hills and Spring Creek Road intersection. This pre-scheduled work is being done in partnership with Georgia Power and will not affect water service.

Residents experiencing issues or needing more information can contact the DeKalb County Department of Watershed Management via email at dekalbwaterops@dekalbcountyga.gov or by phone at 770-270-6243. Regular updates will be provided through official county channels.

"We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate the community’s patience as we work diligently to restore water service."
