DeKalb County has announced that several of its offices and facilities will be closed on Friday, January 10, due to anticipated severe weather conditions. The closures include county offices, senior centers, libraries, recreation centers, the Sanitation Division’s customer service desk, and the Planning Department’s One Stop Shop.

Public safety personnel and other county employees who are essential for maintaining critical operations during this weather event are advised to consult with their supervisors for specific instructions. Employees not required to be on-site for emergency conditions will work remotely.

During this period of inclement weather, officials urge residents to call 911 only in life-threatening situations. For non-emergency matters, individuals can contact the non-emergency number at 404-294-2911.
