DeKalb County Board of Ethics schedules public meeting for January

The DeKalb County Board of Ethics is scheduled to hold its regular public meeting on Thursday, January 16, 2025. The meeting will commence at 6:00 p.m. and take place at 178 Sams Street, Room A1201 - A & B, Decatur, GA 30030.

The agenda for the meeting includes several key items such as the call to order and adoption of the agenda. Administrative matters will also be addressed, including the approval of minutes from the previous regular board meeting held on December 19, 2024. Additionally, there will be a report from the Ethics Officer and discussions on proposed changes to the DeKalb County Ethics Code.

Public comments are invited during the session, along with remarks from members of the Board of Ethics. An executive session is planned to discuss pending litigation and personnel issues. This session will require motions to convene and adjourn as well as a motion to approve an executive session affidavit.

The next regular meeting is announced for Thursday, February 20, 2025. The current meeting will conclude with an adjournment.
