City of Chamblee issued the following announcement on Feb. 16.
Reminder: Join us on Friday, February 18, as we celebrate Arbor Day at 10 am in Huntley Hills Park (3770 Longview Drive).
There will be tree and shrub plantings, a general park clean-up and an Arbor Day reading by the City Arborist. Also, there will be a give away of 3G Sweet Bay Magnolias (Magnolia Virginiana) while supplies last.
Volunteers are welcome and asked to bring gloves and wear appropriate clothing.
