The DeKalb County Department of Recreation, Parks and Cultural Affairs is organizing a Volunteer Stewardship Day at the Davidson-Arabia Mountain Nature Preserve. The event is scheduled for Saturday, December 7, from 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., and will take place at the Davidson-Arabia Mountain Nature Center located at 3787 Klondike Rd, Stonecrest, GA.
Participants are invited to assist in enhancing the health and aesthetics of the nature preserve. Activities will include removing invasive plants and trash, mulching trails, among other tasks. Volunteers are required to bring their own gloves and water. All necessary tools and materials will be supplied on a first-come, first-served basis.
