The DeKalb County Department of Recreation, Parks and Cultural Affairs is organizing a hiking stick workshop. The event will take place on Saturday, December 15, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Davidson-Arabia Mountain Nature Center located at 3787 Klondike Rd., Stonecrest, GA.
Individuals aged 13 and older are invited to participate in this hands-on workshop led by Ranger Rick. Attendees will have the opportunity to carve their own hiking sticks for future adventures at the preserve. Necessary tools and materials will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.
