Oliver Anthony, who gained fame last year with his viral hit "Rich Men North of Richmond," has released a cover of the classic song "Country Roads." Anthony stated that he received numerous requests for this rendition. The song, originally by John Denver, is widely recognized and fits well with Anthony's musical style.

Anthony shared his version on social media, saying, "I have gotten hundreds of messages asking for a cover of Country Roads. We filmed this over the summer and I forgot about it with all the insanity during tour. It's not much but I hope you enjoy it! Filmed on the Bluestone River in Mercer County WV."

Despite the new cover, John Denver's original remains incredibly popular, having amassed 525 million views on YouTube.

In recent developments, Anthony announced plans to leave the music industry. He intends to start a traveling ministry, as reported by FOX News: "Country sensation Oliver Anthony leaving industry one year after meteoric rise to start traveling ministry."

In a YouTube video, Anthony explained his decision: “I’ve decided that moving forward, I don’t need a Nashville management company. I don’t even need to exist within the space of music. So, I’m looking at switching my whole business over to a traveling ministry.” He mentioned wanting to continue his family's legacy as his great-grandfather was also a traveling minister.
