The future of MSNBC has become a topic of discussion following recent claims by Bill O'Reilly. During an appearance on News Nation, O'Reilly spoke with host Chris Cuomo about the current state of the network. According to O'Reilly, there are significant changes underway at MSNBC.

O'Reilly shared insights into the situation, suggesting that Comcast is in the process of separating MSNBC from NBC News. He stated, “So, they are uncoupling — their word, Comcast — MSNBC from NBC News. That means MSNBC has no resources at all. None." He further elaborated on the implications for high-profile figures like Rachel Maddow, adding that NBC News is distancing itself due to negative associations impacting its ratings.

He emphasized that this move is part of a strategy to preserve NBC News' viewership by disassociating it from MSNBC's reputation. "NBC is desperately trying to save the mother ship of information and they have to throw MSNBC overboard," he said.

O'Reilly also suggested potential buyers could acquire MSNBC for a minimal cost: "They’re not putting anything into MSNBC. They want to sell it. So where’s Georgie Soros now? Georgie is buying radio stations. You can get MSNBC for nothing."

In his analysis, O'Reilly attributed these decisions not just to political leanings but also to what he described as hateful rhetoric associated with the network: “Why? Because it’s hateful. Not because it’s so far left."

Looking ahead, O'Reilly predicted changes for another prominent show, 'The View,' hinting at potential shifts in its future.

A video accompanying these comments highlights O'Reilly's claims about Comcast's intentions towards MSNBC and his predictions regarding 'The View.'
