A video clip featuring Joe Rogan is gaining attention on social media. In the clip, Rogan discusses a conversation he had with a firefighter who predicted the type of fires currently affecting Los Angeles. This conversation took place during a podcast episode in July, where Rogan described conditions that could lead to such a fire, including strong winds and challenges in extinguishing it.

The prediction has drawn significant interest due to its accuracy. FOX News reported that this resurfaced clip coincides with an ongoing wildfire that is burning thousands of acres across Los Angeles County.

In the podcast episode with comedian Sam Morril, Rogan shared what an L.A. firefighter told him: "One day, it’s just going to be the right wind, and fire’s going to start in the right place, and it’s going to burn through L.A. all the way to the ocean, and there’s not a f—ing thing we can do about it," while wearing a t-shirt featuring a "Los Angeles City Fire Department" logo.

Rogan emphasized his source's point about the crucial role of wind in determining whether such an inferno would occur. The firefighter mentioned that residents have been fortunate so far: "We get lucky with the wind… But if the wind hits the wrong way, it’s just going to burn straight through L.A."

The video highlights concerns about long-standing vulnerabilities related to wildfires in California. Critics argue that state leaders like Gavin Newsom and Karen Bass may have overlooked these risks while focusing on other policy priorities.
