Craig Shirley, a writer known for his biography of Ronald Reagan, is set to write a new book about Donald Trump's political resurgence in 2024. This follows Trump's recent election victory on November 6, which has drawn comparisons to Reagan's landslide win in 1984. Similarities between the two elections include issues like inflation, high gas prices, and Middle Eastern tensions.

Shirley's upcoming book, titled "Comeback," aims to explore the factors behind Trump's revival. Shirley told The New York Post that he intends to go back four years to the end of the 2020 campaign to detail Trump's comeback. He plans to explain how Trump won in a way that many elites did not understand.

Shirley emphasized that his book will be positive about Trump’s political revival because he believes the facts support this perspective. "My books were favorable to Reagan because the facts were favorable to Reagan. This book will be favorable to Trump because the facts are favorable to Trump," said Shirley.

Lee Greenwood, known for his song 'God Bless the USA,' recently discussed with Dinesh D’Souza the similarities between Reagan and Trump while noting differences regarding wars.

Trump is noted as a historic president for being the first since Grover Cleveland to serve two non-consecutive terms.
