Pro-Trump singer and actress Joy Villa made a notable appearance on the red carpet at the 2025 Grammys, expressing her support for former President Trump's deportation policies. During the event, Villa wore a gold dress and a red hat emblazoned with "The Hat Stays On," drawing attention to her political stance.
Villa commented on recent actions by the Trump Administration, which involved the arrest and deportation of numerous criminal aliens. In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, she stated, "The hat stays on. They tried to kill Trump. He’s still alive, thank God." She further emphasized that there are many Latinos, Black Americans, and artists who support Trump.
Expressing her views on deportation policies, Villa said, “I think that the ones that are being deported should be deported. I’m a Latina. My family came to this country legally." She voiced her approval of removing individuals such as rapists and human traffickers from the country to ensure safety for all citizens.
This is not Villa's first politically charged fashion statement; she previously garnered attention for wearing a "Make America Great Again" gown during Trump's first term.
