Commissioner Robert Patrick is set to host two public events titled "Coffee with the Commissioner" this month. These gatherings aim to encourage dialogue between Commissioner Patrick, community members, and local officials.
“Coffee with the Commissioner is an opportunity to hear directly from the community, discuss challenges, and work collaboratively to find solutions," said Commissioner Patrick. "I look forward to meaningful conversations and continuing to make a positive impact in our county."
The first event will occur on Saturday, December 7, from 9 to 11 a.m., at First Watch located at 4650 Hugh Howell Rd., Ste. 200, Tucker. Joining Commissioner Patrick will be Timothy Hardy, director of the DeKalb County Code Compliance Administration. Hardy will address community concerns and answer questions about code compliance issues.
The second event is scheduled for Saturday, December 14, from 9 to 11 a.m. at Starbucks inside the Embry Hills Kroger at 3559 Chamblee Tucker Rd., Atlanta. This session offers another chance for residents to engage directly with Commissioner Patrick and express their views.
Residents can discuss topics such as the proposed water and sewer rate increase and the SPLOST II project among other issues.
All DeKalb County residents are encouraged to attend one or both events to learn more about local initiatives and provide feedback to Commissioner Patrick and Director Hardy. Complimentary coffee will be available for attendees.
