DeKalb Cooperative Extension offers free virtual classes on consumer sciences

DeKalb County Cooperative Extension is offering free virtual classes on Family and Consumer Sciences. These sessions will be accessible via Zoom and Microsoft Teams.

The first class, "SMART Goals & Vision Boards," is scheduled for Tuesday, December 10, 2024, at 11:30 a.m. Participants will learn about SMART Goals and their application in setting new year's resolutions. Registration is available at https://bit.ly/4eU8pi8.

The second class, "Radon in DeKalb," will take place on Thursday, December 19, 2024, at 6 p.m. University of Georgia's radon educator Rebecca Cantrell will lead the session. The class highlights the importance of testing homes for radon during the colder months when people spend more time indoors. Radon is noted as the second leading cause of lung cancer. No registration is required for this session; participants can join via Microsoft Teams at https://bit.ly/4fHaejp.
