Cost of college went up for all students at Strayer University-Georgia

Tuition and fees rose 2.1 percent for 2018-19 at Strayer University-Georgia, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Georgia students paid $13,380 to attend the four-year private for-profit institution this year – $477 less than the $13,857 charged for 2017-18.

Data shows 58 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 6 students received grants or scholarships totaling $30,647 and 5 students took out student loans totaling more than $47,996.

Including all undergraduates (7,530), 4,022 students used grants or scholarships totaling $18.7 million, and 4,519 students took out $48.3 million in federal student loans.
