Efforts to improve the watershed system in DeKalb County are set to continue with the initiation of the Roman Court Sewer Improvement Project on Monday, April 28. The construction will involve replacing approximately 3,391 feet of gravity sewer main from Roman Court to Brockett Road. The project is anticipated to take around twelve months, concluding in May 2026, provided there are no weather-related disruptions.

Construction activities will occur from Monday through Friday, between 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m., excluding major holidays. Residents in the area should prepare for increased noise and traffic during these hours.

For further information about the Roman Court Sewer Improvement Project, a virtual community meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, April 22, at 6:30 p.m. It will be hosted via Zoom at https://dekalbcountyga.zoom.us/j/81546114983. Additional details can also be obtained by contacting the DWM Project Information Line at 1-800-986-1108 or via email at projectinfo@dekalbcountyga.gov for any queries.
