Actor John Cusack, known for his roles in 1980s and 90s films such as 'Say Anything' and 'Better Off Dead,' has recently become more vocal about his political views. He participated in an online event called ‘TeslaTakedown,’ where activists, including Congress member Jasmine Crockett, discussed actions against Tesla planned for March 29th.
During the event, Cusack made strong statements about Tesla CEO Elon Musk. "Elon Musk is ‘literally killing people’ due to his work with the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE)," he said. Cusack described Musk as a “pathological liar,” a “criminal,” a “sociopath,” and a “ghoul.”
“These are unprecedented times of mass criminality,” Cusack declared. He likened Musk to former President Trump, calling him "a pathological liar" and accused him of using his child as a sympathy prop while depriving aid from people globally. "He’s literally killing people," Cusack emphasized, accusing Musk of having caused harm by cutting government spending.
Cusack urged participants to follow Senator Bernie Sanders and his Oligarchy Tour. Additionally, he claimed that Musk accessed Treasury Department metadata to monitor internet searches.
Breitbart News reported on these remarks from Cusack during the #TeslaTakedown Mass Mobilizing Call held on Wednesday.
