The senator expressed hope that with attention from DOGE and the President, his bill might gain traction. He noted that opposition seems nonsensical to him, stating Democrats appear aligned against what he considers logical measures.
Kennedy praised Elon Musk as a "rockstar" for his actions related to DOGE and supported budget cuts. He stated, "The tofu crowd is mad, but you know, when you trim fat, pigs squeal," describing it as a natural law.
