Conservative analyst Mollie Hemingway recently appeared on FOX News to discuss the role of an unelected administrative state in American politics. She emphasized that this is a critical issue for many, especially with regard to its perceived support for Democrat presidents and opposition to Republican leaders.

Hemingway explained why she believes DOGE (presumably referring to Elon Musk's influence) is necessary in this context. "A fight 100 years in the making," she described it, pointing out the emergence of what she terms a "fourth, completely unconstitutional branch of government" that both enforces and creates laws, known as the regulatory or administrative state.

She posed a significant question: "Can you have a constitutional system of government with this completely unaccountable, unelected fourth branch of government?" According to Hemingway, this issue is central to why Democrats are concerned and why former President Trump has chosen to engage in this battle.

Various users on Twitter/X reacted to her comments. Walter Curt commented that it represents a struggle "to reclaim the constitutional government we were founded on." Kevin M. Nelson expressed concern over Democrats' potential loss of power linked to an unaccountable bureaucracy, while Ava Armstrong simply stated, "BOOM Hemingway is correct."

The discussion sparked by Hemingway's appearance highlights ongoing debates about governmental accountability and power distribution in the United States.
