War Room co-host Natalie Winters recently engaged in a discussion with Darren Beattie of Revolver News, focusing on the challenges faced by the left regarding their message and narrative. The conversation was aired on Saturday.

The dialogue began with commentary on Marc Elias's remarks on MSNBC about building resistance against President Trump. Winters criticized Elias, stating, "No one cares about your democracy drivel, BS talking points. The American people rejected you guys in full force in early November."

Winters further questioned Elias's transparency concerning Democrat donors: "You know Marc Elias, for someone who sits up there and says democracy almost every other word and then throw in Project 2025 in every other, other word, you know, you are not very transparent about your donors."

Seeking Beattie's perspective, Winters asked about the current state of resistance and its future appearance. Beattie responded by noting a shift since 2016: "I think the dynamic is very different from what it was in the aftermath of 2016, in the specific sense that I think the left is largely demoralized." He attributed this to Trump's popular vote victory and loss of support among Latino men.

Beattie observed that the left must now face their unpopularity: "For once really forced to confront how profoundly unpopular they are and how unpopular their message is and what they represent is." He described them as being in a phase of confusion while attempting to regroup.

Additionally, Beattie suggested that opposition to Trump might manifest internationally: "I think the resistance might actually migrate over to intensify in and express itself through other countries."
