Former My Chemical Romance drummer Bob Bryar has passed away, reportedly taking his own life in early November. His body was discovered at his Tennessee home earlier this week. Authorities found no signs of foul play, and his dogs were rescued from the property.

TMZ reported that "there is no foul play suspected, we’re told, because all of Bryar’s weapons and music equipment in the home were left untouched." The medical examiner is investigating the cause and manner of Bryar's death.

Bryar joined My Chemical Romance in 2004 after working with the band The Used. He was with My Chemical Romance until 2010. After leaving the band, he often spoke about having suicidal thoughts. In recent years, Bryar became vocal about his right-wing views and criticized political correctness.

Following news of his death, some transgender activists and supporters made derogatory comments online. Tweets included remarks such as "racist transphobe down!!! bye!" by @nuclearwarfare and "Rest in piss transphobic scum" by @dankscorpio1.

As of Saturday night, My Chemical Romance had not addressed these posts publicly. A spokesperson for the band stated to CNN: “The band asks for your patience and understanding as they process the news of Bob’s passing.”
