On November 25, 2024, Rep. Johnson expressed his appreciation for community leaders in Rockdale and Newton counties through his annual Unsung Heroes program. He acknowledged the honorees' contributions by stating: "I had the honor of celebrating some of Rockdale & Newton's most selfless leaders this month at my annual Unsung Heroes program. These honorees work tirelessly, often behind the scenes, to help make our community as strong & successful as it is. Congratulations & thank you all!"

The following day, on November 26, 2024, Rep. Johnson shared his visit to the City of Tucker where he explored various development projects including Peters Park. Reflecting on a personal connection during his visit to Livsey Elementary School, he remarked: "It was great to meet with @CityofTucker and visit several developing projects including Peters Park. One of our stops was Livsey Elementary, where my mom taught for about a decade! Thank you for having me!"

Later that same day, Rep. Johnson highlighted a resolution aimed at promoting justice and equality by addressing barriers both domestically and globally. He encouraged further exploration of this initiative with the statement: "This resolution recognizes the urgent need to strengthen our efforts, both domestically and globally, to dismantle barriers and create opportunities that promote justice and equality."
