CNN commentator Scott Jennings recently critiqued liberal narratives during a panel discussion, focusing on the portrayal of former President Donald Trump. Jennings commented on the recent meetings between Trump and MSNBC co-hosts Mika Brzezinski and Joe Scarborough, as well as Trump's meeting with President Biden at the White House.
Jennings expressed surprise at these interactions given previous characterizations of Trump. "I‘m amazed. I did not expect Hitler to get so many meeting requests, first from Joe Biden, now from Mika and Joe," he remarked during "CNN NewsNight."
He further noted that such diplomatic engagements suggest that some liberals misled Democratic voters with their rhetoric about Trump being a dictator. Addressing fellow panelist Jeff Jarvis, Jennings said, "And what it tells me, professor... is that all the rhetoric that came from the left... it was all a bunch of BS. They didn‘t mean any of it."
