The DeKalb County Board of Commissioners has announced that their regular, special, and committee meetings will temporarily move to a new location due to renovations at the Maloof Auditorium. Starting November 8, these meetings will take place at 178 Sams Street, Decatur, in Multipurpose Room A1201.

To assist attendees in finding the new meeting location, signs and personnel will be available on-site. The renovation project at the Maloof Auditorium is anticipated to last between 12 to 14 months.

The temporary venue offers free public parking and additional parking options on and near East Freeman Street. It is also accessible from the Avondale MARTA station.
