Throughout her career at GAC, senior Nia Wilson has carried on the historic legacy of girls Track and Field at GAC. As a sophomore, Nia played a crucial role in helping bring home the Spartans seventh state title in 2021. During her junior season, Nia then led the charge for her team by coming in first in the 100 and 200 meter races at the Class AAA state championships. Both the track and field program and Nia herself have flourished under the guidance of head coach Brad Kinser and his staff.
During the Fall, Nia signed with Purdue University, and she will run for the Boilermakers in college.
In honor of her past accomplishments, and her outlook for this upcoming track season, the Gwinnett Daily Post named Nia Wilson as one of their "Super Six Athletes."
