Rep. Hank Johnson, a longstanding member of the U.S. Congress representing Georgia’s 4th district since 2007, has been vocal on social media about significant national and historical issues. Born in Washington, D.C., and now residing in Lithonia, Johnson is known for his engagement with critical socio-political topics.

On January 27, 2025, Rep. Hank Johnson commemorated the Holocaust, emphasizing the importance of remembering the six million Jewish victims. He stated, "Today, we remember the six million Jewish people who were killed during the Holocaust." He urged continued efforts against antisemitism to prevent such atrocities from being forgotten or minimized.

Later that day, Johnson addressed recent federal law enforcement activities in Atlanta through another post. He shared a link to an official statement: "Congressman Hank Johnson, @CRSA_Georgia Statement Following Federal Law Enforcement Raids in Metro Atlanta."

The following day on January 28, he expressed concerns over former President Trump's actions in a tweet questioning Trump's adherence to legal processes. He commented on Trump’s governance style by stating: "Trump is acting like a dictator, repeatedly ignoring the laws of Congress." Johnson speculated whether Trump would respect Supreme Court decisions contrary to his views.
