Our November Doraville Difference Maker was awarded posthumously to Bob Kelley. Bob was Doraville's first civilian Public Information Officer. Who not only served the Doraville community with a passion and dedication, but literally wrote the book on Doraville. Another one of Bob's accomplishments and contributions to Doraville is the book of Doraville's history, complete with a beautiful collection of photos, that he wrote.
The award was accepted by Ed St-Amour, Bob's loving spouse of 30 years. In accepting the award Ed remarked on how much joy Bob felt working for Doraville. Not just how much he loved the work itself but the community he served and the coworkers he worked with. The City of Doraville was lucky to have Bob, and his impact will be felt for years to come
