Caroline Kennedy and Jack Schlossberg of the Kennedy Foundation praised Pence's decision to uphold the election results, highlighting the significance of his actions amidst political pressure. "Despite our political differences, it is hard to imagine an act of greater consequence than Vice President Pence’s decision to certify the 2020 presidential election during an attack on the U.S. Capitol," they stated, emphasizing the courage needed to act according to one's conscience in challenging times.
