Efforts to enhance the watershed system in DeKalb County will advance with the onset of the Gravity Sewer Rehabilitation and Replacement Project on March 31. The project involves replacing approximately 3,091 feet of gravity sewer main between Eastwyck Drive and Saratoga Drive. It is anticipated to span roughly twelve months, from March 2025 to March 2026, assuming no significant weather-related delays.

Construction is scheduled to occur daily from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., Monday through Friday, with the exception of major holidays. Residents should prepare for increased noise and traffic during these hours.

For additional details about the Gravity Sewer Rehabilitation and Replacement Project, a virtual community meeting will be held on Thursday, March 27, at 6:30 p.m. Interested individuals can join the meeting via Zoom at the following link: https://dekalbcountyga.zoom.us/j/81360203448.
