The DeKalb County Board of Registration and Elections recently approved several changes to polling places for the upcoming June 17 Special Primary. The decision, made unanimously at the board's regular meeting on March 13, 2025, involves both temporary relocations and one permanent adjustment.

The board explained these adjustments will come into effect specifically for the Special Primary, with changes reverting to original locations by the November 4, 2025, Municipal/Special Election. Specific temporary relocations include the Stone Mountain Elementary, Stone Mountain, and Stone Mountain Champion precincts, which will be moved to Georgia Military College. Additionally, the Cross Keys High and Woodward precincts will temporarily use Woodward Elementary School. Livsey Elementary's precinct will shift to Midvale Elementary School, and Montclair Elementary's precinct will use Briarwood Recreation Center. The Kittredge Elementary precinct will move from Cary Reynolds Elementary School to Montgomery Elementary School.

A single permanent relocation was also endorsed, involving the Dresden Elementary precinct, which will be moved to John Robert Lewis Elementary School.

The board encourages voters to verify their polling site by checking www.DeKalbVotes.com or phoning (404) 298-4020. Information is also available via @DeKalbVotes on X (Twitter) and Facebook.
