Efforts to enhance water service capacity in DeKalb County will progress with the commencement of the Salem Road Water Main Replacement Project on March 17. The project involves replacing 1,350 linear feet of water lines with new 12-inch ductile iron pipes. This initiative is scheduled to last six weeks, from March to April 2025, unless weather conditions cause delays.
Construction activities are planned from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding major holidays. Residents should anticipate increased noise and traffic during these hours.
