During a recent episode of her podcast, Megyn Kelly criticized MSNBC hosts Nicolle Wallace and Rachel Maddow for their remarks about DJ Daniel, a young cancer survivor honored by President Trump in his speech. Kelly expressed her disapproval of the comments made on MSNBC, describing them as toxic.

President Trump also addressed the situation, suggesting that Wallace and Maddow should face job termination due to their statements. He attributed these remarks to what he called "Trump Derangement Syndrome," which he believes causes people to act negatively.

Kelly discussed Nicolle Wallace's past political affiliations, noting her previous role in shepherding Chief Justice John Roberts through his confirmation process. She mentioned how fellow panelists Jen Psaki and Rachel Maddow reacted to Wallace's comments during the broadcast. According to Kelly, Psaki appeared uncomfortable while Maddow shifted the conversation away from the topic.

Kelly described DJ Daniel's excitement when President Trump announced he would be made an honorary Secret Service member. She criticized Wallace's reaction, interpreting it as negative despite the child's joy.

The podcast episode included a clip featuring Rich Lowry discussing Wallace's comments and connecting them to broader criticisms of media reactions related to Trump.

As of now, MSNBC has not released a statement regarding the incident involving Wallace and Maddow's comments.
