In response to these rumors, Doug Emhoff posted a photo of Kamala Harris at home eating Doritos. He captioned it, "Oscars watch party prep," dispelling any speculation about her attendance.
Deadline updated their story, stating, “The stars will be out today at the Oscars, but Kamala Harris won’t be among them after all.” They confirmed that although there were expectations for her to attend based on several sources, she chose to stay home. This decision was publicly shared by Doug Emhoff.
