Democrats are organizing a boycott scheduled for Friday, February 28. The event, known as the "Feb 28 Democrat Boycott," is a response to President Donald Trump's actions against diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives. Various groups have been advocating for this boycott to protest corporations aligning with Trump's rollback of these practices.

John Schwarz, founder of a consumer-activist group, has initiated a grassroots campaign urging individuals to refrain from spending both online and in-store and avoid using credit or debit cards for 24 hours on February 28. Major retailers such as Amazon, Walmart, and Best Buy are among the targets due to their reduction in DEI efforts.

Nikki Free is one of the organizers promoting this event. Meanwhile, Al Sharpton has also expressed his support for the boycott.

In contrast, some individuals are encouraging others to shop on February 28 as a counteraction to the planned boycott. A call has been made for people to make purchases on that day as a way to oppose what they view as an extreme leftist initiative.

The upcoming boycott reflects ongoing tensions between political groups over corporate policies related to diversity and inclusion.
