During Kendrick Lamar's halftime performance at the Super Bowl LIX in New Orleans, a masked protester interrupted the show by displaying a Palestinian flag with "Sudan" and "Gaza" written on it. The individual stood atop a black Grand National car on stage for about 45 seconds before security noticed.
The protester was quickly tackled and removed by security personnel, allowing the halftime show to continue without further incident. It remains unclear how the individual accessed the stage.
In the game itself, the Philadelphia Eagles were leading against the Kansas City Chiefs 34-6 during the third quarter.
