During City Council's work session on Wednesday, December 14th, Mayor Geierman and the rest of City Council took time to recognize the work of Scorzza Arts Academy and the work of their students.  The recognition is to honor the Scorzza students who preformed and participated in the Doraville Art Festival earlier this year.

Scorzza Arts Academy is a non-profit organization focused on serving the Latino community, especially children, by teaching lessons in Spanish. They've been in the Doraville area for over twelve years.  You can read more about Scorzza here in our Small Business Spotlight feature.
