Gupton Jones College of Funeral Service enrolls 200 undergrads

At Gupton Jones College of Funeral Service, 60 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 55 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The two-year private not-for-profit institution in Decatur enrolled 200 students in fall 2018, all in undergraduate programs, data shows. No undergraduates were transferred from another college or university.

59 percent of undergraduates are residents of Georgia, and 41 percent are residents of other states.

The undergraduate student body is comprised of students who identify as Black or African American (60 percent) and white (40 percent).
