In the aftermath of yet another ProPublica report showing billionaire Republican megadonor Harlan Crow showering Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas with even more lavish gifts – this time that he paid private school tuition for a Thomas relative – Congressman Hank Johnson (GA-04), the ranking member of the Judiciary Subcommittee that oversees the courts, issued the following statement
On May 3, 2023, U.S. Senator Cory Booker (D-N.J.), a member of the Senate Judiciary Committee, and U.S. Representative Colin Allred (D-TX) introduced the bicameral Ending Forced Arbitration of Race Discrimination Act, legislation that would end the practice of forcing individuals who have experienced racial discrimination at work into arbitration.
