The DeKalb County Police Department (DKPD) is organizing a hiring event on Saturday, March 15, from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Tobie Grant Recreation Center in Scottdale, Georgia. This event aims to fill recruit and certified officer positions.
Participants will have the chance to complete much of the hiring process during the event and may receive a conditional job offer before leaving.
For non-certified recruits, DKPD offers a starting salary of up to $64,050 with an additional $3,000 hiring incentive. Certified officers with at least two years of experience can earn up to $73,500 plus a $5,000 incentive.
