Academy Award-winning actor Mel Gibson shared his thoughts on former President Donald Trump's visit to Los Angeles, California. Gibson compared the event to a traditional disciplinary action, saying, "It's like Daddy arrived, and he's taking his belt off, you know? So I think he'll get some results here quickly." He made these comments during an appearance on Hannity.

Gibson expressed support for Trump’s presence in the state amidst ongoing wildfires and criticized Democratic leadership. He remarked on the resilience of residents affected by the fires: "You meet people all the time who've lost their homes... everyone’s putting on a brave face."

During his visit, Trump met with local officials and promised aid by signing an executive order aimed at addressing water shortages affecting firefighting efforts. He criticized Democratic leaders for leaving critical aquifers empty, which hindered wildfire control.

Trump has reportedly selected Gibson as one of his Ambassadors to Hollywood alongside Sylvester Stallone and Jon Voight. The Gateway Pundit highlighted Trump's criticism of Democrats during a roundtable meeting with Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass over delays in wildfire recovery efforts.

Trump also addressed Democrat Representative Brad Sherman's defense of FEMA, emphasizing that state governments should take initiative rather than relying solely on federal intervention.
