Rep. Hank Johnson, a U.S. Congressman representing Georgia’s 4th district since 2007, has shared several statements via social media addressing significant political and social issues. Known for his active engagement in legislative matters, Rep. Johnson's recent posts cover topics such as campaign finance reform, reproductive rights, and civil rights.

On January 21, 2025, Rep. Hank Johnson criticized the Supreme Court's decision from fifteen years ago that allowed for increased financial influence in elections. He stated, "15 years ago, the Supreme Court’s conservative justices opened the floodgates of unlimited money in our elections, putting a for-sale sign on our government and a price tag on our democracy. We must #EndCitizensUnited and put the people back in charge."

Reflecting on January 22, 2025, he commemorated the anniversary of Roe v. Wade while advocating for abortion rights. He expressed his commitment to reproductive freedom by stating: "As we reflect on this 52nd #RoevWade anniversary, the third without Roe, the need for nationwide protection of the right to abortion is evident. Today and every day, I am proud to fight with @ReproCaucus to restore, expand, and protect reproductive freedom."

In a post dated January 23, 2025, Rep. Johnson addressed concerns over an executive order impacting diversity programs within government operations. He remarked: "This order is a blatant step backwards—a reversal of progress. It not only seeks to end DEI programs in government—it represents a refusal to enforce the civil rights laws that protect minorities & women from systematic racism."
