Senator Eric Schmitt appeared on "Fox News Sunday" with host Shannon Bream to discuss issues surrounding H-1B visa abuses and the current administration's border policies. Schmitt expressed concerns about how the H-1B visa program is being misused, leading to situations where American workers are required to train their replacements.

During the interview, Schmitt emphasized that many American jobs have been outsourced, leaving domestic workers neglected. He stated, "American workers have been left behind by this economy. Many factory jobs have been sent overseas."

The conversation also touched upon former President Trump's strategies for managing his coalition amid public debates. Bream inquired about Trump's approach in handling these challenges, to which Schmitt responded by acknowledging the significance of ongoing discussions on social media platforms like X.

Schmitt further highlighted border issues, mentioning an estimated 15 million people living illegally in the U.S., attributing this situation to what he described as open borders policies under Joe Biden and the Democrats. He noted that deportations would be a priority for a potential Trump administration, alongside executive orders addressing immigration reform.

"The first order of business...is the deportations that are going to begin on day one," Schmitt said. He also mentioned plans for reforming the H-1B system while pointing out broader concerns related to mass migration affecting jobs, wages, and housing costs.

The full interview can be watched online through Fox News Sunday's official channels.
