Popular gay porn star Austin Wolf, whose real name is Justin Heath Smith, has been arrested on charges related to child pornography. According to the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York, Smith was apprehended and charged with distributing and receiving numerous videos depicting child pornography via the Telegram application. The content included disturbing footage of children as young as infants and a video showing a 10-year-old child being tied up and raped.
Authorities reported that Smith, aged 43, used a Telegram account to exchange these videos with another user. A memory card containing such material was discovered in his New York City apartment during an investigation.
U.S. Attorney Damian Williams stated, "As alleged, Justin Heath Smith received and distributed hundreds of recordings containing child pornography, including a ghastly video showing a young child bound, beaten, and raped." He urged anyone with information regarding Smith's activities to contact the FBI at 1-800-CALL-FBI.
The criminal complaint revealed that between March 24 and March 28, 2024, Smith exchanged hundreds of such videos using an anonymous Telegram account. An undercover FBI agent later engaged in conversations with this account where Smith inadvertently disclosed identifying details. A search warrant executed on April 21 at his Manhattan residence uncovered an SD card filled with additional incriminating videos.
Smith faces one count each of distribution and receipt of child pornography—carrying penalties ranging from five to twenty years—and possession of child pornography, which could result in up to ten years in prison.
FBI Assistant Director in Charge James Smith emphasized the severity of these crimes: “I want to make it clear: those who distribute child sexual abuse images prey upon the most vulnerable in our society. Each image is a crime scene, leaving lasting scars on innocent victims.” He affirmed the FBI's commitment to pursuing offenders relentlessly.
