Liberal New York Times columnist Ezra Klein recently appeared on 'Real Time' with Bill Maher, where he discussed various political topics. During the discussion, Klein commented on Elon Musk's approach to electric vehicles and conservatives. He noted, "I thought the best thing about Elon Musk embracing MAGA is that he would sell the idea of electric vehicles to conservatives but that he failed."

The conversation also touched upon deregulation. Bill Maher highlighted that excessive regulations are causing people to leave blue states. In response, Klein suggested a change in terminology: "We need a new word: You say ‘deregulate’ and a lot of liberals and leftists shut down... Change the word to rules: Some rules are good, some rules are bad."

Klein further remarked on Donald Trump's voter base, stating, "Donald Trump wins people who don’t like to think about politics. If you follow news, you voted for the Democrats. If you don’t follow the news, you voted for him."

These comments have sparked discussions about how Democrats perceive regulation and their electoral strategies.
