CNN has shown how they plan to manage the microphones during the upcoming debate. The microphones will only be active when it is a candidate's designated time to speak. This feature may primarily affect Donald Trump, according to some speculations.

Joe Biden is reportedly preparing for the debate at Camp David. The event will be moderated by Jake Tapper and Dana Bash, both known for their critical stance on Trump.

CNN has stated that the microphones are equipped with green lights indicating whether they are active. If a microphone is off and a candidate attempts to speak, their voice will not be heard by television viewers.

Charlie Kirk shared a video on Twitter demonstrating how these microphones will function during interruptions in the debate.
