Various female employees of the World Economic Forum have accused its founder, Klaus Schwab, of sexual harassment. The Wall Street Journal conducted an investigation revealing allegations against Schwab for creating a hostile work environment.

Schwab is alleged to have targeted employees over 50 for dismissal to lower the workforce's average age. When HR chief Paolo Gallo refused to comply without valid performance-related reasons, Schwab reportedly fired him.

In 2017, Schwab allegedly dismissed a young woman leading a startup initiative after she informed him of her pregnancy. He expressed dissatisfaction that she wouldn't maintain her work pace and let her go after a short trial period. Other female staffers reported being pushed out or facing career setbacks after becoming pregnant or returning from maternity leave.

Some women claimed they were victims of sexual harassment by senior managers at the Forum, with incidents involving suggestive comments and inappropriate behavior. These accounts describe Schwab as setting a tone of sexualization and objectification from the top, making women uncomfortable with his remarks and behavior.

"I knew he liked me and I knew he found me pretty," said Mryiam Boussina. "Every man with a lot of power, they think that they can get any woman and they are not ashamed."

"There was a lot of pressure to be good-looking and wear tight dresses," added another former employee from the 2010s era at WEF. "Never in my career have I experienced looks being such an important topic as in the Forum."

Another staffer recounted Schwab making suggestive comments and posing suggestively in front of her, mentioning he wished she was Hawaiian to see her in costume.

"I need to find you a man, and if I were not married, I would put myself on the top of that list," Schwab reportedly said on multiple occasions.

Schwab has denied all allegations vehemently, insisting on professional conduct at all times. “Mr. Schwab does not and has never engaged in the vulgar behaviors you describe,” stated a Forum spokesman, criticizing The Wall Street Journal's reporting for mischaracterizing their organization.

Under Schwab's leadership, WEF has promoted the idea of a 'Great Reset,' aiming to replace democratic governments with global governance similar to China's system.
