City of Chamblee issued the following announcement on Sept. 15.
Due to staff shortages, customers may see a delay to the collection of garbage, recycling, grass clippings & leaves. Specifically, the city will collect less yard debris due to these shortages. We will continue to collect yard debris if it is bagged or canned and this may also include grass clipping and leaves. The city will not collect any pile of yard debris that is put curbside and involves anything more than grass clippings and leaves. Piles that include logs and limbs or large piles of brush will not be collected. if you have questions of need further assistance, please call Public Works at 770-986-5019.
